Opportunity Gaps– The difference in resources that are given to K-12 students in terms of quality of instruction, college-preparatory curriculum, quality of teachers, access to a school counseling program with specific indicators of skill development, access to career and college development skills and counseling, and other opportunities that make a difference in who goes to college and high-paying careers and who does not.
